Henan Yellow River Yingbin Hotel, formerly known as the Third Guest House of the CPC Henan Provincial Committee, was built in 1959 and subordinate to the Reception Office of the People’s Government of Henan Province. The hotel has a glorious history, which has received Mao Zedong, Deng Xiaoping, Hu Yaobang, Wang Zhen and other older-generation proletarian revolutionaries, as well as some foreign dignitaries and high-level delegations. After the hotel is renamed "the Yellow River Yingbin Hotel" in 1994, it has hosted such Party and state leaders as Jiang Zemin, Hu Jintao, and Xi Jinping. Known as the "State Guest Hotel" in Henan, it is a Vice-Chairman Member Unit of China State Hotel Association, and also an important window for Henan to open to the outside world.
